Physician Observerships

La Jolla Dermatology & Laser Surgery Center has welcomed licensed physicians, dermatology residents, fellows, and other medical professionals seeking exposure to advanced cosmetic dermatology practice. Due to clinical scheduling limitations, a small number of observerships are hosted each year with Dr. Azadeh Shirazi, ensuring a highly personalized and educational experience.

These observerships provide insight into real-world cosmetic dermatology practice, including:

• Patient consultations and treatment planning
• Injectables — neuromodulators and dermal fillers
• Laser and energy-based procedures
• Aesthetic treatment strategy and workflow

Observerships are designed for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and dermatology trainees seeking hands-on observation in a private, high-volume aesthetic dermatology practice.

Physicians and dermatology trainees from across the United States have participated in our clinical observership program, reflecting the prestige and selectivity of these experiences.
