As the laser beam penetrates deep beneath the skin’s surface, it allows for both tightening and lifting of the skin without surgery. The addition of dermal filler immediately prior to the laser treatment enhances the lifting and tightening of the skin. This procedure may be used to tighten and lift the skin on the face, neck, hands, chest, and abdomen. The treatment course may involve 2-5 sessions, 4 weeks apart, but many patients note improvement with just the first session.
